Fleet
Nambucca Taxis Pty Ltd is flexible in the size & type of service that can be provided. We have 5 sedan/wagon taxis, 2 Toyota Commuter based Maxi Taxis (up to 11 passengers) which are also equipped to carry one or two wheelchair passengers, 1 wheelchair accessible taxi that can also seat another 4 passengers, 4 sedan/wagon hire cars. All of our hire cars are equipped with climate control air conditioning for your comfort.

Maxi Taxi: For jobs where a Maxi Taxi is requested, or where there are more than 4 passengers, the rates will be 50% higher than those above.
In addition to the above fees, waiting time will be charged at $1.05 per minute at anytime the vehicle is travelling at less than 26km/h
Booking fee: this will not apply for jobs where the taxi is hailed in the street, or hired from a taxi rank.
For all jobs (other than DVA or TTSS clients) a fee of $27.50 will apply for use of the wheel chair lift
Day is 6am to 10pm, Night is 10pm to 6am.
Driver Opportunities
We offer several driving options to suit different needs and levels of vehicle ownership.
Owner Operator Car (Uber)
Owner operator car drivers use their own approved vehicle and receive jobs through our digital dispatch system. Hours are flexible, and drivers keep their earnings while paying a service fee. This role is similar to rideshare platforms such as Uber, with the added benefit of operating under a local taxi company.
Bailee Driver (Company Taxi)
Bailee drivers operate a company-owned taxi. The vehicle and dispatch system are provided with a fee, and drivers work agreed shifts while paying a set bailment fee. This role suits drivers who want steady work without owning a vehicle.
Owner Operator Taxi
Owner operator taxi drivers use their own licensed taxi while operating under our company network. Drivers receive access to bookings and dispatch services while maintaining independence.

Nambucca Taxis Pty Ltd is a family owned business. The principals of the business are Jon & Kath Daley, who have been involved in the public passenger transport industry for over 20 years. They are both still actively involved in the day to day running of the business, along with a number of other family members.
